This is an opportunity to work for a highly successful telecommunications company with strong pride in the quality of its customer service and product offerings. This is a key role within the HR function to spearhead their Training function to their network of retail outlets and corporate staff as well.
Report into the Head of HR, this is a critical role that manages a small team in meeting all training and development needs for the organisation. You will be required to work closely with the business so that you can design and deliver the most relevant training solutions. Ensuring training effectiveness, facilitating process improvement and overseeing corporate culture and career development frameworks are also key areas of responsibility. You will also drive leadership development and talent management. In addition, you will also double hat for staff relations, although this will be a smaller part of the role - this will involve internal communication and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
This role is best suited for a mature Manager with at least 10 years of training experience, ideally gained within a highly customer service oriented environment. You will have previous team management experience and be able to manage a highly fast paced role. A highly hands on and commercially relevant approach is essential, you must demonstrate a strong business acumen. You will combine a strong training foundation with significant organisational development experience, particularly in leadership and talent development.
