Retail Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our retail project management team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be managed projects for retailers, working ="font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 0px; text-align: justify; ">Job Description and Role Summary

The Key duties of this post are as follows:

  • Manage a team, and act as single point of contact for multiple projects, reporting to senior Client representatives, and inProjects Country Director.
  • Prepare master schedules and timelines, including key event schedules, procurement and design programmes.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost reports for the Projects.
  • Manage the development of the design and monitor the production of the design against key programme dates.
  • Prepare and issue prequalification and tender documentation and manage the undertaking of competitive tendering process where required by the Client.
  • Manage and coordinate the retail furniture and equipment ordering process and track deliveries.
  • Liaise with Landlords and Government Authorities to facilitate and secure Statutory approvals for the Client.
  • Control change and variations through formal change control process.
  • Monitor the construction of the store projects through site visits and prepare reports ="font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 0px; text-align: justify; "> 

    Key Skills

    We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

    • Industry experience in ="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 15px; list-style-image: url(http://content.jobsdb.com/Content/d1013/images/Shared/bullet_cirJ.gif); list-style-type: initial; list-style-position: initial; text-align: justify; ">Fit out project management experience ideally with a retail or hospitality focus – luxury brands are a plus.
    • Ideally experience of working for a Project Management Consultancy, in a Project Management Consulting role or with a Design and Build contractor.
    • At least 7 years project management experience, including managing a team
    • Tertiary education in a relevant field (preferred but not essential)
    • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua) to liaise with associates
